www.colemanroadtripgrill.com Adding smoked flavors to your favorite grilling recipes can turn a good barbecue into a truly great experience. You can spend lots of money getting a specialty smoker or with the tips we tell you about here you can turn your Colman road trip grill, Weber grill, or any portable gas grill, into a backyard smoker that you can use on camping trips or at family day at the beach. Which wood should you use for smoking? Most stores that carry grills and barbecue supplies also stock a variety of hardwoods that you can use for smoking. These commercially available products come either as small, thin slices called chips or as larger chunks. You may also see hardwood logs or bags of hardwood sawdust but we recommend you avoid these because using them requires additional tools. Chips and chunks work great and are easy to use. Chips are ready to use right out of the bag. Hardwood chunks may still have bark attached. Until you have had the opportunity to experiment with bark you may want to avoid using chunks with bark. Depending on the amount of bark on the chunks you could be adding some unexpected bitter flavors. That being said chunks are much larger than the chips, they burn and smoke longer, and require less of your attention. You do not have to use commercially prepared chips if you have some dried hardwood sources available to you. There are three kinds of woods that you do want to avoid completely, however: Softwood from evergreen trees. Pine and …

CookingInHD.com Barbecue Pizza on a Weber Charcoal Grill. In this video recipe, I’ve created a ‘Deluxe’ pizza, with cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, green peppers, and olives, as well as a ‘Hawaiian’ pizza with cheese, bacon, and pineapple. Both were grilled directly on the barbecue grill, without using a pizza stone, and they were amazing! A terrific alternative to baking pizza pies in the oven. Unboxing my new grill. I’ve been experimenting with BBQing since the 4th of July that’s just passed (vids of that to come). I’m happy to have the confidence now to finally do this on a non-disposable grill. I really just needed something that was small and that could stow away easily in my small dorm room. That’s what I liked the most about the design of this Weber Charcoal Grill. It’s compact and indiscreet, capable of folding it handsomely into a toolbox like look that easy to stash away into a cabinet or under a desk. I can’t wait to try it out!
Just a quick over view of my new grill. The old one pulled this whole ( Maximum Overdrive ) thing, it kept trying to burn me alive instead of the burgers. After a few repair attempts where it’d fake being fixed and then try to set me a light we decided to get a new one, a quality one. After a ton of searching for something that had a Sturdy base, strong side tables, good thermometer, and decent cooking area, we settled on Weber, and then on the Genesis line. If your shopping I highly recommend that you check these out, they cook very evenly across the whole surface of the grill.
